Songs of the City is an evening of stories and songs. Local storytellers from United Way funded programs and talented local songwriters demonstrate the life-changing power of local love and local giving.
We are thrilled to welcome local artists Freya Milliken, Dee Dee Austin and KAYO who will perform alongside The Olympic Symphonium. You won’t hear these original songs anywhere else!

The HalifACT Climate Stage is 4 days of free, all ages music at Halifax Central Library during JUNO Week in Halifax / Kjipuktuk! Live music programmed by Music Declares Emergency Canada ( @musicdeclares_canada ) and powered entirely by pedal and solar power with the help of Star Power Atlantic ( @starpwratlantic ). The stage will feature songwriters from across the country 5 -7 pm on Thursday March 21 & Friday March 22, and 2 - 5:30 pm on Friday March 23 & Saturday March 24. Free bicycle tune-ups will also be offered by the Ecology Action Centre ( @ecologyaction ) onsite. Come out and celebrate our Canadian artists and the city of Halifax for taking the JUNO Awards in a greener direction!
